Head Coach-Justin Baxter
-Justin Baxter has been selected as coach of Bryn Athyn College’s first men’s basketball team.
Baxter played college basketball at Arcadia University. He was a four-year starter and two-year captain for the Knights. During his sophomore and junior seasons, Baxter placed top three in the PAC for assists.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Baxter returned to his high school alma mater to be the assistant basketball coach. During Baxter’s six years at Pennsbury High School, the team had unparalleled success: five Suburban One League championships, four state playoff berths, a state final four appearance, and an overall record of 138-37. Baxter played an integral part in cultivating the players, some of whom went on to play Division I basketball and be drafted by the NBA.
Baxter left Pennsbury to become assistant coach at Neumann University. In his first season with the Knights, Baxter helped recruit and develop the CSAC Rookie of the Year and led Neumann to their first CSAC championship game and back-to-back appearances in the ECAC South tournament.
Most recently, Baxter was assistant coach at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. There he helped develop the CACC Freshman Player of the Year and witnessed the defeat of Division II basketball powerhouse Philadelphia University.
Between seasons, Baxter has coached at high school, university, and Hoop Group basketball camps and assisted with high school and AAU tournaments.Team
